Doctor Who Fandom: 10-10-10
Well, it's officially 10-10-10. Hoping to watch a few Tenth Doctor episodes, but I doubt I'll be up to rewatching End of Time, considering most of my day's been co-opted by family for Canadian Thanksgiving (Happy Thanksgiving to my fellow Canadians). I did manage to locate and acquire a frightening amount of Jelly Babies, but that's not exactly a TenDoc thing.

So anyway, Poll!

Best Tenth Doctor Episode(s) to watch today, out of a very narrow field.

Army of Ghosts/Doomsday
2(4.8%)
Blink
17(40.5%)
42
2(4.8%)
Midnight
5(11.9%)
Silence in the Library/Forest of the Dead
10(23.8%)
Stolen Earth/Journey's End
6(14.3%)

I may or may not completely ignore the results of this poll. And yes, your favourite episode probably isn't on here, but this was my intended short-list marathon.

Anybody else who's a Doctor Who fan doing anything TenDoc-related today? This date will only happen in the current common calendrical system once every thousand ETA:hundred years (because at 1AM my decimal places get frisky or something), so today is indeed THE day. ;-)

thousand years, so today is indeed THE day. ;-)
Hundred years, yeah? (1810, 1910, 2010, 2110 ...)

I wasn't planning on doing anything particularly Ten-related, but now I wish I had the time! I'm off to Netflix to watch a ridiculous amount of Ten episodes until work. =D (I am cosplaying Ten for Halloween at my job?)

Hundred years, yeah?

Of course, arg. I lose basic math after midnight, apparently.

I wasn't planning on doing anything particularly Ten-related, but now I wish I had the time!

I noticed the date months ago and my initial grand plans of an all day marathon of some description have whittled down to a couple episodes when I can escap the family stuff.

I'm off to Netflix to watch a ridiculous amount of Ten episodes until work. =D

Go you!

(I am cosplaying Ten for Halloween at my job?)

That totally counts. :-)

Apparently 101010 is binary for 42. So maybe you should throw some Douglas Adams in there too!

Oh and happy Thanksgiving!

Dude, binary translation before coffee is cruel! *works out math* So it is! Hunh! Well, I've been meaning to track down that recent film version with Martin Freeman in it. I'll have to see if I can find it after I get back from the family thing.

Ooooh yes, perhaps I should watch some Ten today as well!

I hope you do/did! I was hoping to do a proper marathon today but got ambushed by family stuff. :-P

My sister came for a surprise visit with her new boyfriend whom I'd never met before, so my Doctor time has been cut short! I might watch one episode before bed, though. :)

Well I know this isn't technically tenth Doctor, but I bought Hamlet with David Tennant and Patrick Stewart yesterday because of the unrivaled awesome:) I think I will watch the only ones I own--Planet of the Dead and The Next Doctor:)

Enjoy your re-watching!! mmmm jellybabies.

Blink is totally my favorite Dr. Who possibly ever. I can't recommend it enough. But they are all good. Have a good time rewatching and have a great Thanksgiving.

*nods* It's not just good Doctor Who, it's good science fiction.

Blink is the scariest episode ever!!!! Or maybe The Doctor Dances, but that's not on your list.

Ah, but The Doctor Dances is a Nine episode, and this is Ten's day ;-D

Good point. But, still: "Are you my mummy?" Scariest thing ever!
