FIC

GEN

The Baker Street Literary Club by blooms84
RPF would be a good deal more tricky if the RPs frequented your local coffee shop.
(Mrs. Hudson and assorted others write RPF. Guess who it's about.)

Let It Loose by blackdog_lz
Summary: Blackmailers and dark alleys don't match
(John whumpage, Badass Sherlock, H/C)

'SQUINT'*

You Were Great by patster223
Summary: War. That’s it, isn’t it? You’re in a war. You almost laugh, but then you remember that half a building is currently resting on top of you and you refrain from expressing your incredulity.
(You are Sherlock, who has been an ass to John without understanding why and now you are trapped alone under a collapsed building. 6600 words in second person POV and it works.)

Abhorring the Dull Routine of Existence, or, a Week Spent on Artificial Stimulants by ardenteurophile
Summary: Sherlock tries out more legal varieties of stimulant.
(Three parts. Sherlock goes on a Red Bull bender. Funny as hell. Author notes that since this is a prequel to another of her fics which is slash, it's technically pre-slash, but it stands on its own more than well enough to be read either way.)

Pack Up Your Troubles by sciosophia
Summary: John frowns. “How is--” he gestures at the screen, “--a shark attack soothing?” Fluff, football, pub, sharks.
(The kind of fic that makes you go 'Awww' and want to cuddle things.)

*Squint = If you look at it one way, it's plain Gen, if you squint, you might see slash or pre-slash.

PRE/SLASH

Foul Weather by entangled_now
Summary: Sherlock's timing is too good to be chance.
(Author Rating: PG-13. Possessive kissing, Sherlock/John.)

SLASH

Signs of Attachment by lady_t_220
Summary: All the reasons Sherlock's a crap flatmate (but clearly articulates his intentions)
Author Notes: Mostly crack and fluff and smut, to be honest.
(Author Rating: NC-17. First time fic. Sherlock/John. What she said. *points to A/N*)

Memorandum by ukcalico
Summary: Four conversations Watson and Lestrade had about their stupid crushes on Sherlock, and the one time they both did something about it.
(Author Rating: NC-17. First time fic, but... It's complicated to explain. John/Lestrade and other stuff.)

OTHER THAN FIC

ART

A Study In Pink Gin by redscharlach
Behold, the mysterious menu at Bar Sherlock.
(I want to have a bar, just so I can print this out and have it up as a poster.)

CRAFT

Sherlock: The Game by ldhenson
(Nifty little maze game, awesome details.)

VIDS

The Men of Sherlock are Too Sexy by lotrfan2888
Music: "I'm Too Sexy" by Right Said Fred
(*gigglesnort*)

#35 Mind Heist by starsystems
John's life has been taken over.
Music: "Mind Heist" by Zack Hemsey
(For the first vid this person has ever made, it's freaking awesome.)

...OTHER

Desktop Buddies (AKA Shimeji) - Sherlock and Moriarty by y0do of DeviantArt, and John by sadynax
WARNING: Only works on Windows PC's. Little animated characters that roam around your computer screen, doing things.
(I actually haven't seen these in action since I don't think my workplace would approve of me installing this on my workstation, but the art alone is cute and it's only a matter of time until people start posting screencaps. Any programmer-types that wanted to port this for other platforms would likely find themselves inundated with undying gratitude, judging from comments.)

If you've seen something amazing that you think more people in the Sherlock fandom should have the chance to enjoy, please rec it at the main Sunday Recday post at sherlockbbc.

Thanks for the recs.

If you don't mind me saying, I think there's a problem with the link/title of the second vid rec.

Gaaaaah, of course there is. I was putting together the recs in a massive exhausted mid-migraine haze last week, so I'm surprised there aren't more errors. Thank you for letting me know! :-)
